Dear Members and Friends of Pecan Meadow:
After a great amount of deliberation, research,
prayers, tears and sole searching, we have made the decision to close
the current operations of Pecan Meadow Sporting Center.
Our decision has been made, for several reasons.
Economics of course play a huge part of the picture, and through advice
of our financial advisors and CPA’s, we can no longer conduct business
as we have in the past. Of course our recent health issues also
play a huge part in this decision. We realize that life and health
are a valuable blessing given to us, and we must not ignore those
blessings. God has given us a second chance, by restoring Butch’s
health, and we thank Him. Therefore, we also want to share more
time together during those years we have left.
We will continue regular business operations until
December 31, 2008. At that time, all inventory, machines, golf
carts, etc. will be sold.
During our 8 years in operation, we have formed
many friendships. That in itself makes this decision so
heartbreaking. We want to sincerely thank you for coming into our
lives, and supporting us thru the years. Our home is always open
to you, and hope that you will stop by to visit.

CARTS FOR SALE
11/22/08: All gas golf carts are sold...
have 11 electrics left. I installed on the electric ones, a $79. gauge
that shows when you are getting low on power. By doing this, the carts
were not charged unless they needed it, thus prolonging the life of the
batteries!!! All my carts were rotated, so that no cart was used more
than a couple of times a week, and I do have service records on all of
them.
Also, I have been asked if items can be picked up before we shut down...
yes they can, to a point!! I just need to keep the bare minimum of carts
and machines till the end... with the "extras" I always kept, most items
can be picked up now... just ask!!
